I remember I saw for the first time these striking Chanel shoes 5 years ago. At those times these were the most iconic shoes I had ever wanted, and I just wasn't able to find them. The Chanel sign on the heel shined in a dreamy manner, and for me, that was just the place to carry such bold jewelry. 
Instead of new shoes, I focused my expenses on these rare and authentic shoes. It was the unbelievable surprise to find the shoes I dreamed of in an unexpected day, and remembering them as objet du désir in magazines and editorials. By far the best shoe investment this year.

I happened to rediscover them a few minutes before at Style.com (slide 54) and at Lady Gaga's LoveGame video.
