Shot this amazing vintage Courrèges before leaving Paris, although it seems as it didn't fit me, this is actually how the design and cut is supposed to be. Loving the retro vibe and of course the history of this french brand.

Louis Vuitton-Marc Jacobs, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris

I've been meaning to share these pictures with you since the opening of the exhibition "Louis Vuitton-Marc Jacobs" at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. I was lucky to be invited by the lovely team over at Louis Vuitton in Paris to take a deep look into the world of two great visionnaires and innovators, each one into their own periods of time. We have to make emphasis that this exhibition rather than a retrospective, is an analysis of this Louis Vuitton-MarcJacobs comparison. As soon as I started walking through the exhibition, I started discovering the era of Louis Vuitton(1821-1892), founder of the firm. A men who had the vision and understood the needs of his time. More than 140 years later a new type of visionary emerged, now focusing on the demand of this new colored and modern era. The Marc Jacobs age, since 1997, when he was appointed as artistic director of Vuitton. He has changed the direction of Louis Vuitton taking it to the next level. Every room and window I looked, I could recognize vividly a runway moment, and a vibrant advertising that has marked Louis Vuitton in recent seasons. Kate Moss walking down the runway, models as nurses, pop art Louis Vuitton prints, every variation of a LV bag you can imagine, and just the very classical baggage. You can remember it all at every step you take at the exhibition, where you can also see the huge and successful evolution Louis Vuitton has taken in its way, with luxe and history.
