paisleys and flowers-Stella McCartney ss12

Natalia Vodianova photographed by Mert & Marcus and styled by Stella McCartney. Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign
It´s something fresh, lean, and even sporty that makes me think of clothes as arquitecture. A different and exciting point of view.
I'm every season a bigger fan of Stella.

Mermaid's wallet

Almost the end of January and I just received this Christmas present. Perfect for my mermaid ss12 inspiration. Thank you MyTheresa <3

glitters is not gold

My own interpretation of the Dolce&Gabbana look this fall ( the knee-long dresses with socks and stilettos.
I got these sparkly socks back in Tokyo, and had been mostly using them with loafers and ballerina shoes(because I got them in 4 different colors), so I gave them a try with higher heel shoes. It´s just a little twist of a normal dress+high heel shoes outfit, that makes it look actually very different. And I like it!
D&G dress, Christian Louboutin shoes, socks I bought at the airport in Tokyo

Atelier Versace Spring 2012

It´s always thrilling when fashion week is starting, and today Versace opened perfectly the Couture Fashion Week Parisienne.
Held in the historical and beautiful Ecole de Beaux Arts, I arrived just in time (as also did Cameron Diaz and Diane Kruger) to see Lindsey Wixon and Arizona Muse wearing structured luxurious and embroidered strapless short dresses and many  glamourous long ones. We can still see some traces of the Mermaid theme Versace did for the ss12 Prêt-à-Porter but resembling more like beautiful goddesses
covered with their armors.

It seems hard to choose, but the gold one that Arizona Muse wore, made my eyes sparkle right away. The photo can be good, but not enough to show how perfect looks in real life.

of the week and the weekend

A mixture of random things I did or anything that caught my attention this week.  The weather started  freezing cold with bright blue sky , and turned into rainy/cloudy over the weekend.
Outfits in order of appearance:
1. American Apparel sweater, Mulberry Lily bag,  Ray-ban sunglasses, vintage shirt, Banana Republic scarf, Topshop jeans, shiny socks from Tokyo, Burberry loafers
2. Bimba&Lola sweater, American Apparel high waist shorts, Wolford tights
3. vintage coat & fur bonnet

Daria, Welcome to Las Vegas

“Daria is the girl I work with the most. She has a natural, strong beauty. You can put her in a white tee and she will make it look fantastic. I like Kate [Moss] too, because she cares about clothes. Most models don’t care what you put them in, they just play the game.”- says Emmanuelle Alt, via Vogue.com

I'm too excited to get  my hands on the new Vogue Paris issue. A simply huge boost of Daria Werbowy
styled with a whole lot of spring.
