Atelier Versace chez Ritz Paris

When Donatella set her mind in making a comeback for couture (the last season I attended the first presentation), she couldn't had picked a better place than the famous Ritz Paris. She chose to share how Versace nowadays is still VERY Versace, keeping Gianni's essence, which is always too sexy and with strong defined looks. 
For some reason this collection reminded me of Disney princesses, only with more -leather- corsets and more skin-showing. 

Thank you Versace for having me during this Haute Couture week, it was a feast for the eyes!

  6. Love how colorful and flowing those dresses are. haha your description is very apt! It's funny and yet not surprising that Versace excels at something like couture. Too bad their purses are so horrible.

  9. i like the workmanship that has gone into these pieces and im sure they were made from very lux fabrics hence they wudn't be called couture, but even though donatella tries to keep the essence of versace, it's not doing the brand much good as what was cool and lux back then now seems a bit tacky and tasteless with the same proportions, shimmery stuff, skin showing, tight/short dresses... granted they're all made well, just wish she'd revamp the brand a bit. all about moving forward... look how well givenchy did (went from something no one knew, to the most desired label for seasons)
